With 50 years of experience in psychotherapy, I’ve always believed in the power of relationships to heal and guide us. I listen with care, empathy, and respect—offering a space where you can explore what you need and how you want to grow. After retiring from the Mental Health Center of Denver in 2023, I’m returning to what I’ve always loved most: private practice.
I use clear, grounded methods to help you find clarity and build resilience.
Not at all. You don’t have to be in crisis to start. Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just wanting to understand yourself better—those are all meaningful reasons to reach out.
That’s okay. A good fit matters. If it doesn’t feel right after a few sessions, I’ll support your decision to explore other options—what matters most is that you feel safe and understood.
No. I’ve listened to thousands of stories over the years. My role isn’t to judge—it’s to understand, support, and walk with you through whatever you’re carrying.
That’s more common than you might think. You don’t have to come in with a plan. I’ll gently guide the conversation, and we’ll find your path together—even through silence.
Talking helps you notice patterns—how you think, how you react, what you’ve learned to carry. Together, we can shift those patterns in small ways that can lead to lasting change.
Usually not. My hope is to help you develop tools and insight so you can move forward on your own. Some people check in now and then—like emotional tune-ups—and that’s okay too.
That can happen. Looking at hard things takes courage, and it’s normal to feel tender. If it gets overwhelming, I’ll help you slow down and find steadier ground.
Absolutely—what you share in therapy belongs to you. I’ll always keep our sessions confidential, unless someone’s safety is at risk.

Sometimes life just feels heavy.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck in your thoughts, overwhelmed by worry, or longing to rebuild a connection with someone you care about. I offer a space where you can gently unpack what’s on your mind and begin to find clarity and ease.
